recordings

Audio and video productions by Bartłomiej Mróz — immersive recordings, concert archives, and mixing work.

Beyond research, I work as a recording engineer and producer — primarily in immersive and spatial audio formats. This page collects productions I have authored, co-produced, or had a principal technical role in.

Released Recordings

Jakub Neske — Deus Ex Machina

Academic Choir of Gdańsk University of Technology · 2023

An immersive production of Jakub Neske’s choral work, with text by Bartholomew Begley. Recorded with a Zylia ZM-1 3rd-order Ambisonics microphone, with section microphones mixed as objects replicating their spatial positions. The mix was submitted to and received an Honorable Mention at S3DAPC 2023 (IEM Graz / VDT / ORF Musikprotokoll). Released in Dolby Atmos, Sony 360 Reality Audio, Auro-3D, 4th-order Ambisonics (HOAST player), and stereo.

The 360° video version uses energy visualisation driven by the MagicalTrailShader, with spatial audio energy from each choir section controlling the visual animation.
