Music Theatre Gdynia Acoustics

Comprehensive acoustic measurement and simulation project for the main auditorium of the Musical Theatre in Gdynia, combining classical impulse response measurement with Higher-Order Ambisonics capture. The project analyses reverberation time, speech intelligibility, clarity, and spatial energy distribution in the context of musical theatre repertoire requirements.

Initiated in collaboration with the theatre as a student research project (2025), supervised by me. The resulting spatial acoustic impulse response dataset is published on Bridge of Data, Gdańsk Tech. Continued by B. Repiński (M.Sc.Eng thesis, ongoing).
